Trevor here. Just got back from a family vacation through Arkansas and Indiana – 3,000 miles in the Jeep with my wife, 2 kids and our 7 year old Aussie, Thomas.

But before that, Jake and I took the Flarespace Sprinter up to Hood River for Adventure Van Expo. It was so cool meeting customers, Instagram acquaintances and new friends. We camped at the Hood River Campgrounds with all our friends and had a great time after the show.

If you've never checked out AVE, you definitely should. So many cool builds and innovative, awesome products.

Immediately after the show, Cory from Rigwell, Brian and I ran out to a spot we heard about at the show. We caught amazing views and the craziest lush vegetation on an easy hike to the jump spot. We hung out until it was almost dark with Tifanie. We camped nearby and in the morning, the three vans took off for the coast to surf at Short Sand Beach.

We stayed in paid campgrounds nearby, ate carryout seafood on the beach after surfing and playing soccer with Cory's dog Ollie.

I took off from the coast by myself in the morning and drove slowly on my way back, stopping in Pendleton, some hot springs and weird casino parking lots. It was good to be back for a few days and I can't wait to see you all at the next AVE. Hey guys, #sleepsideways
